Siremo Inc. announced the start of an AI anime × short-form video series for its AI character, Ima-chan.
This initiative aims to provide an experience where an AI character grows not only as a “streamer” but as a “story-bearing character,” starting from short-form video platforms such as YouTube Shorts.
Background: An AI character experience born from short videos
In recent years, short-form videos have become a major global content consumption format, and creators are increasingly expected to express character and world-building in ways that are instantly understood.
As a fully autonomous AI VTuber, Ima-chan has gained support from users in Japan and overseas through real-time streams and short clip videos.
With this new expansion, we aim to combine the strengths of short-form video with the AI anime format—evolving from “snackable fun” to a “continuous storytelling experience.”
